Aeris Neo™ - Notice of Termination of Wireless Services Agreement

Notifications have been sent to customers of Aeris Neo™ regarding the termination of support for Aeris Neo Wireless Services Agreement, effective December 20, 2024. This release note is simply a reminder of the change upcoming in December 2024.

 

Dear Customer,

We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to inform you of an important change regarding your Aeris Neo™ cellular connectivity service (the “Service”) with Aeris Communications, Inc. (“Aeris”). Any capitalized terms used in this message but not defined herein are defined in the Wireless Services Agreement you entered into with Aeris (the “WSA”).

Aeris is terminating the Service effective on December 20, 2024 (the “Termination Date”). This message constitutes notice of termination of the WSA. The WSA will terminate effective on the Termination Date.

We understand that this service termination may cause inconvenience, and we are committed to providing you with the support needed during this transition period. An FAQ is found at the bottom of this email to help answer initial questions. Please contact our customer service team at support@aeris.net if you have any further questions.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Why is the Service being terminated?

a. The Service has become less relevant in the face of hands-on support required for implementing and operating successful IoT projects. To ensure that every customer is supported and every project is successful, Aeris needs to change the product packaging. It was determined that this change could not be done with the way Aeris Neo™ is currently set up.

2. What happens next?

a. All outstanding balances must be paid prior to the Termination Date.

b. If you have devices that need to continue cellular connectivity, we recommend finding another cellular connectivity vendor to ensure continuity of service.

c. On the Termination Date, all Devices remaining in your AerPort™ account will be cancelled and your AerPort™ account will be deleted.

d. Any of your Customer Data remaining on Aeris systems as of the Termination Date will be deleted, so please retrieve any such data from your AerPort™ account before the Termination Date.

e. If you prepaid Fees, Aeris will refund any such prepaid Fees for Services not yet used.

3. Will there be any early termination fees?

a. No, as per the terms of the WSA, there will be no early termination fees for the termination of the WSA or the Service.
