Your Aeris Virtual Assistant (Ava)

  • Get device details
  • Cancel a device
  • Suspend a device

Basics

Ava enables users with Admin or Technical roles to complete portal operations using chatbot commands. This simplifies device management and facilitates administrative activities in your account.

For example, you typically need to complete the following steps to cancel a device in the Aerport Portal:

  1. Open the Manage SIMs page.
  2. Locate the device you want to cancel.
  3. Click the options icon and select Cancel.
  4. Select a reason for the cancellation.
  5. Click OK to cancel the device.

To cancel a device with Ava, simply submit the following requests into Ava's chat bar:

  1. set device {deviceId}: Specifies the device you want to cancel.
  2. cancel: Instructs Ava to cancel the device.
  3. yes: Confirms the cancellation.

Ava is integrated with the Aerport Portal using the single-sign-on (SSO) service. Therefore, you don't need separate credentials to access Ava.

To access Ava:

  2. In the navigation menu, click Virtual Assistant. This opens Ava in a new tab.
  3. Enter what can you do? in the command box to view available commands. For a full list of support commands, see Actions Available on Ava.
